The 2011 All Cal
Steamboat, Colorado
December 10-17, 2011
Last Year's All Cal to Jackson Hole was definitely one for the books, amazing snow, amazing terrain, and great company. This year we have chosen the birthplace of "Champagne Powder" which has been coined in Steamboat, Colorado for the amazing fluffiness and just smooth deep powder. Steamboat has been a classic All Cal destination for years, but has been reserved specifically for a winter such as this to ensure we get the maximum champagne pow effect and ride some clouds. With just about 3000 acres of shredable terrain and an amazing winter coming, this is definitely going to be one for the books that you don't want to miss.
Over several years, it seems to be that the one recurring problem is the proximity of the lodging to one another. Although last year's lodging had been the best we have seen in years, Steamboat's accommodations are even better. This year we have snagged two apartment complexes next door to each other. These wonderful condos are all extremely close with ample hot tubs close by for some mountain mingling. Last year, it seemed as if the main problem was how far the shuttle ride to the mountain was wasting precious riding or partying time. We have solved that this year by securing lodging that is a stumble away from the lifts! Not only that, but the wonderful downtown experience is only a quick shuttle away. It seems as if this year everything we need is going to be almost too close for comfort, nah just kidding, but the mountain we have so strategically chosen is definitely going to be an All Cal to remember, and one you don't want to miss and be hearing about from a friend! So sign up now and maybe the lonely island will tell you why being on a SteamBOAT trip is so awesome!
