The 2010 All Cal

Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Hopefully everyone had fun on All Cal 2009, the last All Cal of the decade. We went to Utah for the first time in All Cal history, and while it didn't seem like anyone had a problem getting their party on, it's time to go to a place where we can drink big-boy beer and the women flow like the salmon of Capistrano. We wanted to kick off the first All Cal of the new decade with a bang, so we've chosen Jackson Hole, WY - a destination not visit by All Cal since 1979.

The biggest complaint we received about Park City was that the lodging was too spread out - it was hard to party with other schools and took too long to get to the parties and events. Well fret no more! Jackson Hole has the best lodging situation we've seen in years! All of the town homes are within walking distance of each other and the events, and just a short bus ride away from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The lodging situation combined with amazing mountain terrain and an awesome downtown environment made it a no-brainer to choose Jackson Hole for All Cal 2010.

The All Cal is the largest student run ski and snowboard trip in the US. Every year, hundreds of students from the University of California schools converge on one of North America's premier resorts for a week of skiing, snowboarding, parties and events. Aside from being an amazing trip, the All Cal is also a competition between the various schools, with several on and off mountain events. The winning school takes home the covenant All Cal Cup.

We understand that the typical college student does not have much money so we stop at nothing to give you the best possible trip for the least amount possible. This same trip would easily be double, even triple, the All Cal price if taken on your own. On top of that, every condo unit has a full kitchen so you can buy food from the market and save a few extra bucks, maybe for the bar.

If you have never been on All Cal and want to know more about the events that take place, make sure to check the "About the Trip" page listed above. There you will find details of all the events and competitions that go on during this week long trip.

If you have been on All Cal before, you know all about the All Cal Cup competition. For the fourth year in a row, every UC school will be on All Cal at the same time! That means Santa Barbara will fight to keep the All Cal cup for the 6th year, while Santa Cruz, San Diego, Irvine, Riverside, Davis, and the newly formed UCLA club will work hard to end their streak!
